What is a video toaster you ask? How could it possibly be related with Garth and Wayne’s World?

Well, it’s certainly not a device for heating up your old VHS tapes… Video Toaster was a hardware/software system for editing SD video. One of the engineers of the product was Dana Carvey’s brother, so that’s probably why he wore the t-shirt. Fun fact: Wil Wheaton was one of the testers for Video Toaster. You can’t get these shirts anymore, as far as I know. However, a clever Zazzle artist has re-created the design and now sells the shirt.
