Mac’s Pea Ridge Shirt

Season 05 Episode 03

Ya’ll ready for a history lesson? We couldn’t find Mac’s t-shirt in the above image but we found some interesting information about the context of the shirt. The shirt says ‘Pea Ridge 1862.’ This is, most likely, referring to the Battle of Pea Ridge that occurred during the American Civil War. This battle occurred in Benton County, Arkansas on March 6-8, 1862. Even though the Union was outnumbered by Confederate soldiers, they were victorious. Due to this victory Union control of Missouri and northern Arkansas was essentially cemented.
