Garth's Van Halen Shirt
You might see a pattern in the t-shirts that Garth wore in Wayne’s World. Like all, his Van Halen shirt in the film is from a hard-rock or metal band. For those of you with bad taste and the ignorant, Van Halen is a hard rock band that was popular in the 70s, 80s and even now. The character Garth, played by Dana Carvey, is a rock music enthusiast so it only makes sense that his wardrobe would consist of almost entirely rock band graphic t-shirts.
This particular Van Halen shirt is from the band’s 1988 album, OU812. It seems like a rare print and the only place you’re going to find it is ebay, etsy or any other website that sells pre-owned, vintage or rare apparel.
